She had finished. Written words of true inspiration. The inner critic in her made her feel it was no good. She closed her notebook and set it inside her desk.
The next day, she went to her desk and brought out her notebook out of the drawer. She opened it to the next blank page. Still upset with what she had written the day before, she gathered the papers together and ripped them out of the spiral bound book. Never one to throw her works away, she placed the papers in a folder with others she felt were not good enough to be seen by the eyes of others. Most of those were never to be given a second glance or thought of again.
Never again to see the light day. Forever trapped in the darkness of the drawer, for which it will serve it's sentence for all eternity.
This is really good! The sentences are a little choppy, but artistically so. You're descriptions are really great, though!!
